Introducing mv Voyager - The Newest Addition to the Voyages of Discovery Fleet
All Leisure Holidays Limited are proud to introduce a new addition to the Voyages of Discovery fleet – Voyager. Formerly the Alexander von Humboldt, she has been extensively upgraded and will be joining the ever-popular Discovery in November 2012 to provide an even wider choice of itineraries to destinations worldwide.
Voyager, built by Spanish yard Union Navale le Levante in 1990, is a spacious and well-appointed vessel offering 278 cabins, 30 of which have outside balconies, open seating dining in three restaurants and the personal service and comfort levels that have been the hallmark of our cruises since 2003. Carrying just 550 passengers, Voyager has all the amenities and facilities of a larger liner, whilst offering the convenience and flexibility of a small ship. She is able to visit and berth alongside where others have to pass by, yet is able to traverse the world’s oceans with ease. On board our passengers will be able to relax in the comfortable public lounges, enjoy a drink in atmospheric Harry’s Bar and in the sunshine on deck at the Lido Bar, or read a good book in the well-stocked library.
The perfect partner for Discovery, Voyager joins our well-established and popular liner Discovery and will offer the same warm welcome and friendly ambience that our passengers expect, but with open seating dining and the option of a balcony cabin.
The chairman of All Leisure Group, Roger Allard, said: “We are always looking to expand our specialist small ship cruise fleet and our latest acquisition fits perfectly with both the profile of our fleet and our destination-led product offering, especially given the high number of outside cabins. This acquisition underpins the confidence that we have in the potential of our destination-led small ship niche cruise offering.”
