The launch of Voyager

The moment we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived this weekend – the official launch of our new ship Voyager.

Celebrated with days of consumer visits, overnight festivities, and let us not forget the wonderful naming ceremony with new Godmother Miranda Krestovnikoff, we certainly gave the vessel a warm welcome into the Voyages of Discovery family.

Now the launch is over, Voyager has set sail on her inaugural voyage to the Caribbean, kicking off an outstanding winter season which will see her travel to Brazil, The Amazon, St Lucia, Jamaica and Chile (to name but a few!)

And so, as she journeys across the seas, we’d like to invite you to keep up to date with her whereabouts over on the Voyages of Discovery blog instead.

We will bring you contributions from passengers and crew, from on board and ashore, and everything in between.

This means we will no longer populate this Countdown blog with content, and instead will direct it all over to the main Voyages of Discovery blog – but don’t worry, we’re keeping this blog open so you can all read your favourite posts from the refurbishment.

Of course, as we bring you new stories, poems and pictures from on board Voyager, we will also share them with you on our Facebook page and Twitter feed @voyagesdiscovery so you’ll never miss out!

But for now, head over to the Voyages of Discovery blog which we will soon be updating with plenty of pictures and stories from the Voyager launch event.
